Happy 4th of July!! Grant and Cate entered the Walden 4th of July parade and boy did they look good! They decorated Grant's motorized Jeep and Cate sat in the passenger seat waving at all the onlookers while modeling her Lady Liberty costume which including a crown and torch. Grant only had a few run-ins with the other walkers as he tried to drive one handed while bending down to pick up candy that had fallen on the parade route. He didn't think it was fair that the people watching the parade got all the candy and he didn't!!!
The afternoon of the 4th was spent jumping from the dock into the cool lake water, biggest splash competitions, and fishing. After 22 fish - Grant quit counting!
We also had a surprise party for Cousin Paul's 21st birthday! He's not really 21 yet but this was a good time since both his mom Debbie and brother Alex were down for the Holiday. I got him a 6 pack of beer but I'm sure Paul will wait until his actual birthday to drink it. Right Paul??
