Grant started Kindergarten today! He really wanted to ride the bus with his friend Xavier but we convinced him to walk to school with Mommy and Daddy today. He'll get to ride the bus tomorrow. Mommy did very well, didn't cry at all. I got misty eyed just one time when I was taking Cate to school and she looked over at Grant's seat then she looked up at me and said very calmly, "Mommy - you forgot Grant." She is having trouble understanding why Grant gets to go to the big kid school and she doesn't.
Grant had a wonderful first day. He really likes his teacher Ms. Reynolds and really enjoyed picking out his own lunch from the cafeteria!
