Go Texan Day 2012

My little wannabe's...We do live in Texas and love our annual "Go Texan" day although we have to get creative with our normal wardrobe in order to play the part.  Next year, I think Blair might fit into sissy's handmedown pink boots! This year, Cate is going to see Big Time Rush at the Rodeo - she is so excited!  Thanks to our very good friends for giving her a ticket :-).

The good & the bad!

Grant joined a new baseball team this season, the TYB Lions.  So far so good - they have been playing very well. Last weekend they played in a tournament in Beaumont and finished first (The Good). However prior to making it to the championship game Grant visited the ER (The Bad). While on the mound he was hit with a line drive, 8 stitches but thankfully no fracture.

Baby Blair is growing up...

So Bear Bear, Baby, Blair, or just "B" you are growing up so fast. You're also number 3 and mommy never has time to write in your baby book. Thanks goodness we have loads of mobile uploads to keep track of you. So here is Daddy's email to me about your first day to wear big girl underwear to school.

"Oh, B had to change her big girl panties a couple times this morning. I accidentally grabbed Minnie Mouse out of the dryer and when she saw them just said
“Doa?” So, we went downstairs and got a Dora pair instead. Then she changed her mind on which Dora ones she wanted to wear, and finally got mad when I wouldn’t let her wear two different pairs at the same time."

You have 4 parents (Mom, Dad, Grant and Cate) and we love watching you grow although it's a little too fast for me.
